My Salsa Garden

I heard the idea of have a salsa garden from 104.1 the Fish. I planted the whole thing all by myself. It is so cool to have this in my back yard, and to know that I can really grow plants...not just kill them. On the bottom left is a couple plants of cilantro, just on the top side of that is a sunflower plant, very top left is mint that you can't really see...middle top is a giant tomato plant, all down the right hand side is cucumbers that I grew from seeds from a 'kids happy meal toy' from Burgerville, and down the midde are some Walla Walla sweet onions. I can't wait until I can make my first batch of homemade salsa.
These are two pumpkin plants from Lynette, a friend from Calvary. Just above each of those are a row of lettuce (leaf and romaine). I am not sure if they are going to grow in time to harvest, but I had some leftover and thought I'd give it a try. I planted them too late in the season, but may as well give them a fighting chance, huh?! Posted by Picasa
