Seratonin is good...

I dont really know if that is how you spell it, but it sure is good. That is the chemical that is released into your body (that is in turkey also) when you are going to sleep. We now have lots of new drugs out, but that is the natural chemical. Whatever it is, and however it works, those after-Thanksgiving-meal-naps sure are delightful. Did any of you get to take a post-meal nap? I think that at one point in my home, all 7 of us were getting some shut-eye. Nice....really nice! We usually watch a movie while my dad and husband get a nap, but this year it just worked out that way. Oh...one more bit of good news: Wednesday, the 23rd, I spotted the comings of Ethen's first tooth. It is his bottom-right-front tooth. He hasn't really been acting different except that he has a snotty nose and a little drainage in his throat. Poor little guy. I hope that it doesn't hurt too much. He'll be 8 months this coming Sunday. I'll post on his month-day an updated pic of him. (like it really takes any special occasion to post pics of him?!)

I didn't get take a post-Thanksgiving nap, but I did get to take a post-Thanksgiving drive from Portland to Walla Walla. Not quite the same.

technically, it's L-Triptiphan that is in turkey and milk, etc... but it does release seritonin in your body, so you weren't totally off! : ) Love, Little Miss Know it All! : )
