Ohhh...an update.

A lot has happened around here...sometimes fast, sometimes slow. I almost don't know where to start. Last Saturday I had my bday party (at my house) where everyone brought a favorite food dish of mine. Wow...yummy. I realized that I am not a big meal person, more of a snacker. That's good, right?! Sunday was my actual bday (yes, I'm 31...and proud to say it). Chris blessed me by babysitting the muchkins (why do they call it babysitting when he's the dad, it's not babysitting when mom watches them?!)...anyways...he watched the kids so that I could go to a movie with my dad. We saw Martian Child. It was cute. Then, he watched them again a few days later so that I could go see Enchanted with my mom and dad and the Ducks. It was a really cute movie...I'd like to own it someday.

Saturday Judah was sick and throwing up, so that made for a fun adventure. He woke up in the middle of his nap with vomit all over his face...poor guy. He got over it by the next morning. Good thing. The picture on the top left, we call it lumpy, is where he was sick.

Also, I have been making some Christmas presents. I'd show some pictures, but that would give away the element of surprise for some people, so you'll have to see them after Christmas. Maybe those people will blog the pics for themselves. I have been quite busy with that.

Ethen is doing really well with the potty training. As I said before, he goes all by himself most of the time, but we still have him in a naptime/nighttime diaper. We'll get there eventually.

Judah is sitting up really well. He is rolling over both ways. We are working on getting him on a regular schedule during the day. We can lay him in bed for his nap...it's so different from Ethen. We still lay with Ethen (and nap with him most of the time). Later today he has a 6 month check up and his 6 month pics...hope it all goes well.

And...you'll have to drive by the see the splendor, our Christmas tree and lights are all up. Chris did such a good job at putting them up (in the freezing weather) and even decorating the front porch. I did the inside light decorating, he did the garland. He is such a good hubby.

One more bit of good news: for those of you who know Josh and Stacey...they recently found out they are expecting their first child. Congratulations guys...you are going to love being parents. God bless all three of you...

Well, that's all I can think of for now. In case you've read this far Dave and Cheryl, you have to start your own blog so that you can post some of your fun vacation pics... :-) We love you guys and we are glad for your friendship. Hey, lets do Bistro next week???

Happy Belated Birthday, Robin! Your celebrations sounded fun. Mine is coming up in December. I am old enough to be your mother! You asked if I got a camera yet. Nope :o( I just grab one of the cameras that is around and have been fortunate enough to download pictures before the cameras took off again for Lacey and Hillsboro.

I miss you guys. Hope to see your smiling faces sometime over the holidays.

I just got back from California and I did read to the bottom. At this point I should be in town the end of next week so Bistro's sounds good.
