Judah has taken off...and fast. He is crawling all over the place. Yesterday he climbed the entire staircase, w/ only 2-3 little helps from me. I can't believe it. Although mobile, he still loves to be right next to mommy (and usually brother too). Just a little over 2 months and he'll be 1 year old. A little less than one month and Ethen will be 3?!
I was asking Ethen about his birthday and if he knew what we are getting for him. He kept saying 'prize'(meaning surprise), but it isn't. We are getting him the Thomas wooden train tracks (from Craigslist). He went through a list of Lex, Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, Ironman...but when I whistled the Thomas theme song, he remembered. What a cutie!
It seems like both the boys are just blossoming right now. One thing that is neat about Ethen right now is that he has the alphabet (Word Whammer) on the fridge and he lines up all the letters in rows. No particular order, just lines. The really neat thing is that he knows a few letters by association. Meaning, he knows that the B is for Bud Bud (my parents dog), but he doesn't say 'B'. He also knows that M is for Mommy, E is for Ethen, D is for Dadda, C is for Casey, G is for Grandma and Grandpa, J is for Judah and Judy and a couple others I can't think of right now. :-)
