Maybe this tells the whole story for us....

So...a little update on the sipee/bottle thing: it's not working. Really the only way that Ethen will take a sipee is if Chris or I have just sipped from it, and even at that it only works for one or two drinks. As far as the bottle....that is not working at all. We are not giving up entirely. In the middle of the night if he wakes up, we are trying both and with little success.

On a good note, he is doing great at taking jar food...except he hates all the veggie kinds and he gags when we give him rice cereal...but he does love the fruit kinds and yogurt! I am sad to say that one thing that his wonderful mom has passed on to him are his taste buds and picky eating habits....oops! I keep trying to give him some veggie or 'dinner' kinds....nope, doesn't work. I get the same stubborn face each bite...eventually he gets upset and waves his arms in the way of the food coming at him, hopefully hitting the spoon that has the icky food on it. He is so darn cute though. I just have to hug him and give him lots of kisses.

It is so amazing to love a little boy as much as we do. Chris and I talk about it daily of how much we love him and are falling more and more in love with him the more we are around him. Thank you God for our little blessing that you entrusted to us. Help us to shepherd his soul and continually point to your perfect example Jesus. Posted by Picasa

Hang in there Robin! It'll work itself out one way or another. It takes little guys a while to get used to new things...besides, you are making him miserable so it's only fair if he tries to get you back right? :) Just kidding. I'll keep praying for you guys. Just keep in mind that it is only for a season and when it's all said and done it won't seem so bad.

Poor guy, I feel for you Robin! So are you still nursing at all?

I saw you! I haven't been close enough to talk to you though.
This is the first pic you've posted of an unhappy Ethen :o( I think the advice you've been given concerning the introduction of foods and all is right on. Kids eat when they are hungry. Though it is awful tough to have Mom anywhere around when trying to switch to bottle. Genevieve won't take a bottle from Joylynn. Wyatt wouldn't either.
It's the first of many "trials" in his life. Keep looking UP!

He is so adorable! Even with a grumpy face. I wish I could hold him!!! Hows the feeding going? Getting any better?
